Getting to Trawool Valley Resort
The resort is located among the rolling hills of the Strathbogie Ranges only 75 minutes from Melbourne CBD. We are accessible via many routes depending on where you are travelling from and what you may wish to see on the way.
The most direct route from Melbourne is via Hume Freeway.
If you are after a more scenic drive or wish to visit some wineries on the way, then you should consider driving through the Yarra Valley, one of Victoria’s most popular wine regions, through Yarra Glen & Yea (we are approx. 25kms from Yea (head towards Seymour), or maybe via Kinglake and through the winding mountain ranges is an option.
Directions - From the Melbourne CBD
Driving from the Melbourne CBD no longer requires hours spent in suburban traffic, just follow these simple directions and you"ll be with us in no time.
- Take the Tollway over the Bolte Bridge and onto the Tullamarine Freeway, take the Western Ring Road exit towards Greensborough, go past the Sydney Road exit and take the next exit (Hume Freeway), continue on this road for about 50kms then take the Tallarook exit, follow the road through Tallarook then via right onto the Upper Goulburn Road, follow this to the end, then turn right onto the Goulburn Valley Highway, we are about 3kms on the left hand side.
